i wanted to capture a distanced view of a place at different points of time within an hour. to be a passive observer of an hour's worth of activity.

a composite of the hour was then created to offer an alien view of various time-based activities within the hour in that one chosen place. this would then serve as a memorial view of the captured hour.

continuing with the idea of being a distant observer, the soundtrack uses a reversed recording of live sounds picked up within the hour to create an ambient alienated theme for the hour.

capturing the constant flow of cargo, this hour served as a visual link. the location used here can be seen as a background element in my earlier hour.
